When it’s time to go back to school or off to college, 2 things are true. Kids want all the coolest stuff and Parents don’t wanna spend a fortune. Walmart understood the assignment and filled the feed with TikTok-native content featuring the best stuff at low prices.
We tapped into the insight that social platforms are the new search engine, so we started every video with a trending back-to-school search term that was top-of-mind for parents. And because we want to be a parent’s favorite digital destination to scroll & shop, we drove traffic to Walmart by highlighting trending products & leveraging shoppable placements.
Made it to the top of the class
Our content drove business with a CTR in the top 1% of TikTok advertising and outperformed benchmarks by 10% in both CTR and VCR.
